Hi Jan:
Yes, I had explained here that the Rollei Pano Head was
designed to stitch optical prints,it has click stops and each stop has an
overlapping of 10% with the previous frame, this 10% is not enough to work
with pano software like Panorama Factory or Photomerge, they require more
overlapping percentage to work fine; the Benro tripod pano head has not
click stops and it is marked to allow overlapping at will, this way no
problem with the software. Anyway, I'll do a test using the Rollei Pano
Head intermediate positions at the middle between two click stops despite
they are not marked, perhaps the overlapping will be eonugh for the pano
software; the Rollei Pano Head last version is comfortable to work witn.
