I have been trying to use my midi files created in Finale on my PR-300s. No
matter what I do I get the message "Can not play this data format." I have
tried everything I can think of and that I can find in the archives to no
avail. Here are some of the things I have tried:

Formatted the disk (can read Noel's files so its not a disk problem)

Save as a midi type 0 from Finale (didn't think it would work) - it didn't
Save as a midi type 1 from Finale (didn't think it would work) - it didn't
Opened the file in Cakewalk 2003 Home studio. Save as midi 0 - didn't work
Opened the file in Cakewalk 2003 Home studo. Save as midi 1 - didn't work.

I can open Noel's files in Cakewalk and resave and they work.

anybody want to buy a PR-300s? (only half kidding).

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Clay
