For what it is worth, I think the owner has the obligation of clearing the path for you. In other areas where we bring in skilled technicians, service contracts are clear about providing them direct access. Then there is the question of good manners, conventionally understood, which would also argue for them clearing the way for you. I thought I knew the answer to this question, but others might have a different perspective so I'll ask the forum: If a technician must move a lot of hymnals, anthems, organ collections, personal belongings, and so forth in order to service the instrument, would you prefer that he leave these things stacked in some obvious location so you immediately know everything has been moved and can put it back the way you want it -- or should he try to keep track of each item's exact position and spend further labor time trying to put it all back as he found it? Curious as to everyone's comments- B.E. ======================================================================== ===== New low pricing on books and music for the Rodgers Organ at www.frogmusic.com ======================================================================== ===== To unsubscribe or change mail delivery (digest, vacation) go to www.frogmusic.com/rodgersmem.html ============================================================================= New low pricing on books and music for the Rodgers Organ at www.frogmusic.com ============================================================================= To unsubscribe or change mail delivery (digest, vacation) go to www.frogmusic.com/rodgersmem.html
