I didn't notice the plug not all the way in until after I finished my
postlude and I got up from the organ. I didn't check it after plugging it
back in, but I'm sure that was the problem, although I am going back to the
church this week and double check it. My husband is also going to fix the
plug so it doesn't vibrate out. I was substituting at a church couple of
years ago on an Allen organ and not all of the keys or stops were working
and I had just been there 2 days before to practice and everything was
working o.k. As the pastor was praying and I had my head bowed, I noticed
the plug was not all of the way in. So, I quietly went over and plugged it
all the way in and it worked fine rest of the service. I called the Allen
dealer and asked him about it, and he said that if the organ isn't getting
"all of the electricity" that it could affect part of the electronics but
not totally shut down the organ.
