I agree with everything Gerry wrote. When the dealers get the Inspire
organs in their showrooms and start to get them installed in churches,
where we can work with the extensive configuration controls and voicing,
then we'll have a lot more information about the nuances and comparison
with other models.
Additionally I'll point out a very significant new feature the Inspire
organs have--a 10-band parametric equalizer for each audio channel. This
is a powerful built-in tool that enables fine tuning the audio for the
specific acoustic characteristics of a room.
By way of comparison, the Artist/Infinity models have a 3-band parametric
equalizer, which we have used to great effect in our installations. Organs
before the SSC platform have controls for increasing/decreasing bass and
treble, but these are rudimentary compared to parametric equalization.
