There is a stunning arrangement of the Widor "Toccata" for choir, organ,
brass, timpani, what-have-you...the organ part is straight Widor, the choir
just sings "Alleluia" in block chords. Easy to do yet hair-raising. By
William Ferris in his collection titled "Festival Alleluias" published by
Oxford University Press, may also be available as a single without the other
four.

Don't forget Randall Thompson's "Alleluia."

Other favorites, maybe less doozy, include Lani Smith's "A Child of Hope"
and Placido Domingo Jr.'s "The Gift of Love"...both are simple but
spellbinding.

For the adventuresome...Paul McCartney's "Liverpool Oratorio" tells the
story of a husband and wife and their child...make a medley of some of the
lovely songs in this work...think Mary, Joseph, and the Christ Child.
