Just a short note (or maybe a little longer).

I did a "Christmas - off the cuff" event at our church on Sunday Dec.
29th. It was a time for people to come and have a "sing-a-long" based
on requests from those who showed up. I also did a few of my favorite
instrumental pieces including some of the pieces from Angelic Christmas.

The whole evening was based on doing "Christmas" during the "12 days of

Christmas". After the explanation of the true meaning of each of the 12

days - we of course had to do the 12 days using Harpsichord, trumpet and

of course the chirping bird. It was really well received - due to
people could request songs that they wanted to sing and they were no
longer in the "secular Christmas rush". The only song that stumped me
for a little while was "Angels from the Realms of Glory" which I hadn't
played for about 15 years. The entire song-fest went for 1 and 1/2
hours with apple cider and bars following. Many have requested that
this become an annual event. It was kind of fun - not spending a lot of

time preparing in advance.

Thanks for all your work in the forum and of course on the midi files.

-bruce.
