Setting the Octave of a MIDI Voice.

This is covered as one of the topics in Playing MIDI Live at the Organ,
a Frog Music Press Publication. Advertisement over! Remember, no
question refunds.

Now, HOLD SET with your left thumb.

Grasp the small SELECT knob on the right side of the organ, clicking it
to the right and you will find yourself in the MIDI menu. On earlier
instrument you will come across the word NORM. Later instruments may
have OCT.

That stands for NORMal pitch.

While you have that word selected, insert right index finger and roll
the ALPHA Dial. NORM will change to UP1, UP2 or, if you got the left,
DN1, DN2.

Save this to a piston. I find it helpful to put a 32' reed thus
generated and full pedal on the highest numbered Pedal Divisional Piston
you have.
