The Rockville Games Club will be doing virtual gaming meetup tonight at 7pm.
Recent play has included Hadara, A Feast for Odin, Terraforming Mars with
expansions and promos on a really great (but secret, shhhh!) "black" site,
Hadara, a clone of Great Western Trail, various variations of Concordia,
Hansa Teutonica, Teotihuacan, Puerto Rico, Saint Petersburg, Agricola, Gaia
Project (on another secret site), and probably many others I've forgotten.
I've invited a few guests for tonight.
Scott Saccenti - patriarch of the Saccenti gaming dynasty and famous as a
GWT GM
Mike Brazinski - notable WBC and GCOM player
Marcy Morelli - WBC board member, Meeple League founder, and GCOM veteran
Karsten Engelmann - he actually gets the government to pay him to design and
play games, and even designs an occasional game for folks like us. He's
mainly a war and 18xx gamer.
Kaarin Engelmann - former WBC Assistant Convention Director and board
member, founder of Congress of Gamers, etc.

"General" channel for audio conferencing. After chatting with each other,
games will be decided and players will switch their audio to Table1, Table2,
etc. to play their games. Connect at 6:30 if you think you might need some
tech support. Call me on 240 476 6429 if you need to.
In addition to announcing the virtual meetup, each Friday I'll be asking if
any gamers have become ready for a return to face-to-face gaming at the
church. We'd use all the safety protocols in place at our last F2F gaming,
with minor changes, plus a temperature check. This is a bright group, so
think about the risk. Reply to any of my weekly reminders when you have
concluded that the risk has become acceptable, and you would now be willing
to attend a F2F session employing reasonable safety protocols. When we get a
dozen "riskers," I'll ask the church to let us resume F2F gaming. We're at
just two now.
