Richard,
Let me know if we need another one.
I can sign Simon up for NAR and have him choose TRG as his affiliation.

Thank you for indicating your affiliation with TRG. I apologize for not
mentioning the limit on the number of affiliations a member can have with
their profile.
I’m going to get in touch with NAR HQ to see if we have enough for now. I
really do not wish to pull people away from their existing club
affiliations.
I want to have a model rocket launch site for TRG, and will start working
on that again. I really appreciate the support. This is something that is
needed. If you are curious, please take a look at the map on NAR’s website
that shows the locations of Sections in Southern California. The only one
shown in Riverside County (population 2.5 million) is TRG. I receive
inquiries about rocketry every week through the NAR and TRA websites and I
do the best I can to help people out. It’s good that people want to find a
safe/authorized place to launch their rockets, and at a minimum I want to
maintain a local place for them to contact. Hope that makes sense.
Thanks again,

The other is SCRA, they're pretty small and also a "classic" NAR group (no
HPR). They need the bump, too.

Thank you Nathan. For TRG NAR #690 to continue as a Section, there needs
to be a minimum of 5 NAR members that are willing to indicate their
affiliation with TRG. Presently, if you decide to do this, there is only
you and me. I let Chuck Neff, NAR Section Activities Chairman, know that
I will get back to him in about a week to see if TRG would continue. If
there are 5 or more by next week, we’ll decide the next step. Here’s what
Chuck sent me for NAR members to indicate their affiliation with TRG.
They can do this by going to the "Update My Profile" page by selecting it
from the drop-down menu in the upper right corner.
Then scroll down that page until you see the Section Affiliation fields.
The account login is here:

If you have questions please feel free to email me off chat or call me.

Hey Richard,
Great to hear TRG will be making a comeback. I’m interested in helping
getting things going and mentoring any TARC teams in the area.

Temecula Rocket Group (TRG) was started years ago as a kids’ rocket
club. Those kids are now adults now. I reactivated the section to
potentially help local TARC teams and maybe even have a annual model
rocket launch here in Temecula.
But, currently it’s just me and I will need additional NAR members that
are willing to affiliate with TRG to keep it going. If you are
interested, please let me know.
As many of you know, it can be difficult getting a local rocket club
going and obtaining approval for model rocket launches. And, it takes
time. I know from past experience that it will be difficult to even
speak with fire officials currently because of the the concern about
fires. Any launches would have to be planned around January next year.
If you are interested in helping, it’s going to take a lot of patience
and perseverance to make this happen. I would appreciate your support
and help.
