Yep, Part FCC 15.231. You can expect strong interference there as well
since common (HAM) radios are much more powerful than modules which
use this freq. 433Mhz is allowed in the US under the general rules
in 47CFR 15.209 but not for continuous operation; it also means you're
limited to about 1mW so you're not going to get much in terms of range
(maybe 1000 ft with the right antenna height).

And what Ken said - you need Crypto, it's pretty easy to spoof these
devices, along with a plethora of old-school FSK (non hopping)
transceivers. A good tool like the Tek RSA306 spectrum analyzer can
"tune in" to these devices and masquerade as a transceiver.

It basically means someone with the right tools can remotely detonate your
fireworks/rockets. I'd be scared to load any of my rockets with that device.
And yes, finally, there is the interlock safety.

Actually, 433 MHz is not a license-free band in the US, however it is in
most of the rest of the world if it's under 10 mW.

There are lots of 433mhz low power devices. I don’t think you need a
license for that frequency.

I’m with Gregg that it’s a good idea to have separate arming switches for
each channel as well as the master switch and a momentary dead-man switch.

Any radio system that is not encrypted should not be used with rockets.
There is too great a chance that it could be trigged by somebody using a
device in the same band.

There is also the issue that all the circuits 1-12 are armed all of the

You'd also have to be a Ham to use it... it's on 70cm.
