Everyone,
As mentioned in the "save the date" email that I sent out a month and a
half ago, the next ROC Recovery Event (aka "Rick's Throwing a Barbecue
for the club") is scheduled for the day after the July ROC Launch, so
mark off the entire weekend on your calendar, and plan to either camp
out overnight on the lakebed, or reserve a room in town.
I moved last year to Apple Valley, so if you came to one of my previous
events at my house in Van Nuys, you'll need to update your address book.
The new place doesn't have a pool, but I do have a nice big enclosed
patio with a poker table, and plenty of room for everyone to hang out
and have a good time (and good food) with all of their ROC friends and
family.
Speaking of family - yes, yours is invited. Please RSVP so I can plan
food quantities based on the expected headcount. If you've got any
dietary restrictions, please let me know in advance, so I can make sure
everyone's able to eat without worrying about food allergies, etc.
