I've never had an issue putting vent holes near transitions or nose cones. The
Strattologger is good at filtering out any spurious spikes in pressure. Just
use three holes and you will be fine.

Working on the av-bay of the Nike booster. Using a Perfectflite Stratologger
in the transition. So here’s the question: where to put the vent holes? Just
below the curve, but straight though, or farther down and through the
airframe and coupler? All sorts of disadvantages to both. Or do I try to get
a clean straight cut through the fiberglass and put the av-bay down near the
fin can?
I’d rather not shell out another $150 for an accelerometer.
