Friday evening I am looking for a couple ROC folks with experience with
deploying large parachutes from a deployment bag to help look over my setup.
I’ve got a big project to fly that is using a deployment bag in a 12”
bodytube and a 28ft C-9 parachute and 54” pilot. I’ve deployed and used the
parachute successfully in the past, but not in a deployment bag. As this will
be my first flight with a deployment bag, I’d really like to get a couple
other experienced eyes on it.
I am very happy with the setup I have and am very confident it will work
without issue, but you don’t know what you don’t know with these types of
things.
Come find me out at the launch. Just look for the giant orange Sumo or the
trailer flying the Arizona flag. I should be arriving around 1pm tomorrow,
and plan to have things out and reviewable by 5pm or so. I’m looking to get
this flight off first thing Saturday.
Thanks,
