Thank you. Yes, I've used O-ring spacers between grains in the past as well.
However, this is not stated in the directions, and more importantly, just
checked with Wildman Tim, and he said no O-rings needed between grains on this
motor. The extra O-rings may be for using with CTI hardware.
Wish that there was some mention of the extra O-rings in the directions that
came with the motor, but that sometimes happens.

When I built my AT m1780 (75mm), there were o-rings that were placed between
the grains. I worked with others who had sent up the same motor before and
they made sure I included the o-rings between the grains. Be sure that you
have the needed o-rings for the forward seal disk, the forward closure, and
the aft closure.

I’m getting ready for LDRS and my L3 flight attempt. I’m planning on using a
M1600R motor. It’s a 98mm 3 grain. I noticed 2 extra small diameter O-rings
in the build kit that are not mentioned in the directions. Are these O-rings
to be placed between the grains?
BTW: just thinking, what difference really would they make for this motor?
If you have experience with this motor, I would appreciate your advice.
Thank you,
