SUBJECT REGION 3 FREELIST
Support for the region 3 free list will cease at the end of September,
region 3 has been using this list for several years to send messages to the
members. Effective 30 September, all communications will be sent by Winlink,
members that do not have a MARS Winlink address should sign up at
http://www.winlink.org as soon as possible. In addition, effective September
01, all communications addressed to this station should be sent to
aaa3rd@xxxxxxxxxxxx Winlink HF and VHF as well as RMS Express point to point
was used extensively this past weekend with great success, point to point
connections in and out of region 3 was used for immediate delivery of
messages to intended recipients on several occasions, members are encouraged
to use RF connections on a regular basis.
