Subject: [RETVET-INFO] 2013 Military Retiree Activities\Appreciation Days (RAD)

The below list of Military Retiree Activities\Appreciation Days (RAD) is
provided for your information.

RADs are designed with retirees in mind. They're a great source of information
for military retirees and family members. RADs vary from installation to
installation, but, in general, they provide an opportunity to renew old
acquaintances, listen to guest speakers, renew ID Cards, get medical checkups
and lots of other retiree related services. Many RADs offer health screenings
and vaccinations. Some RADs include special events such as dinners and\or golf
tournaments, DFAS representatives. For more information about a particular RAD,
please contact the Retirement Services Officer (RSO) sponsoring the RAD.

o Please advise if you know of a RAD that is not listed below. Please
include the RAD location, date and telephone number of the sponsoring RSO.

o Due to budget constraints, some RADs may be cancelled or rescheduled.
Also, scheduled appearances of DFAS representatives may not be possible. If you
have to travel long distances to attend a RAD, before traveling, you should call
the sponsoring RSO to ensure the RAD will held as scheduled and, if applicable,
DFAS reps will be available.
