Resflash 7.5.0 is now available. The were no changes needed to support OpenBSD
7.5, and this release consists only of a version bump, a README update, and
testing. Image and filesystem formats are unchanged, and usage/upgrade
procedures are unchanged.
One topic of note is in regards to i386 support. I have very few remaining
systems that support BIOS/CSM mode, and of those that do, none will boot
OpenBSD i386. While running i386 on amd64 vmd has always been a little finicky
due to timesource issues, I am currently not able to boot 7.5 i386 on amd64 vmd
at all. As such, I don't have the ability to build -stable sets or test
resflash on i386. Architecture-specific code in resflash is fairly cleanly
abstracted and I have no intention of removing i386 support, but at this time,
I can't verify functionality. Testing and bug reports from users of i386 is
appreciated.
