[relug] PKG-CONFIG

Dunque, stavo cercando di installare xchat più altre cosettine, però mi da
sempre questo errore:
checking for pkg-config... no
checking for GLIB - version >= 2.0.3... no
*** A new enough version of pkg-config was not found.
*** See http://www.freedesktop.org/software/pkgconfig/
configure: error: "Cannot find glib"
Ovviamente cerco di installare glib appropriate, ma anche li mi da un errore
di PKG-CONFIG. Allora decido di mettere PKG-CONFIG, tutto a posto, ma il
problema continua ad esserci. Ma cos'è PKG_CONFIG e, sopratutto, come lo
metto a posto??? Grazie ciao
