Hi all,
I hope everyone is doing well! I have some requests and volunteer
opportunities to share.
First, if you have or are currently working with reddish egrets in any
capacity, please take a minute to fill out this google sheet. Note there are
tabs for English and Spanish. Please use whichever tab you want to and we
will be happy to translate to the other. In the last column, let us know what
you think are the priorities for outreach and education in your area. For
example,
targeting outreach efforts to fishermen and recreationists to reduce
disturbance.
The Communications Committee will be working on creating an annual
newsletter, as well as some quarterly email updates. If you have any news to
share with the working group in that format, please email me. Of course you
are always welcome to email the listserv with any news or updates at any time.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Working Group Committees: If you are interested in joining any of the working
group committees, please respond directly to Clay Green, or if you would like
to join the Communications Committee please email me.
Website Maintenance: If anyone has experience in maintaining and updating
websites, and is willing to keep our new website (coming soon!) up to date,
please email Clay.
Graphic Designer: If you have graphic design/Adobe InDesign experience and
would be willing and able to help our Communications Committee with various
projects (signs, brochures, a newsletter, etc.) please email me.
