Miembros del Grupo de Trabajo para la Conservación de la Garza Rojiza en
México. Espero que todos ustedes y sus familias se encuentren con bien.
Gracias por haber participado en la encuesta Doodle, les informamos que la
próxima reunión virtual de este grupo de trabajo se realizará los días 28 y 29
de junio de 2021. Los horarios tentativos se encuentran entre las 9:00 y las
16:00 (Hora Central de la CDMX) con recesos y horario de comida incluido. En lo
posible agradeceremos puedan permanecer los dos días de taller.
En los próximos días se les hará llegar la agenda del taller y el link de
acceso para la reunión de trabajo virtual. Les queremos recordar que si es de
su interés participar con alguna presentación sobre esfuerzos o resultados que
hayan realizado, por favor háganos saber antes del próximo viernes 4 de junio
para poder programarles en la agenda.
Entre los principales objetivos de la reunión, se encuentran:
- Presentar actividades realizadas en los últimos 2-3 años ligadas a las
estrategias del PNCGRM.
- Simplificar y actualizar el listado de amenazas por subunidad de manejo
(estas fueron determinadas en el año 2015).
- Ponderar las amenazas de manera general para México.
- Identificar áreas clave para protección y restauración ecológica.
- Espacio para actualización de asuntos del Reddish Egret International Working
Group.

Members of the Working Group for Reddish Egret Conservation in Mexico. I hope
all of you and your families are doing well.
Thank you for taking part in the doodle poll, we inform you that the next
virtual meeting of this working group will be held on June 28 and 29, 2021. The
tentative hours are between 9:00 and 16:00 (Central Standard Time Zone (CST))
with breaks and meal times included. As far as possible we will appreciate
being able to stay the two days of the workshop.
In the next few days the workshop agenda and the access link for the virtual
work meeting will be sent to you. We want to remind you that if it is in your
interest to participate with a presentation about efforts or results you have
made, please let us know before next Friday, June 4, so we can schedule you on
the agenda.
Among the main objectives of the meeting are:
- Present activities carried out in the last 2-3 years linked to the PNCGRM
strategies.
- Simplify and update the list of threats by management subunit (these were
determined in 2015).
- Rate the threats to Mexico.
- Identify key areas for ecological protection and restoration.
- Updates and advancements from the Reddish Egret International Working Group.

Buen día compañeras y compañeros del Grupo de Trabajo para la Conservación de
la Garza Rojiza en México (PNCGRM). Espero que en estos tiempos de grandes
desafíos, ustedes y sus familias se encuentren con bien.
El presente es para comunicarles la intención de realizar una próxima reunión
virtual con el objetivo de dar seguimiento y actualización a los componentes
del Plan de Negocios para la Conservación de la Garza Rojiza.
Entre los principales objetivos de la reunión, se encuentran:
- Presentar actividades realizadas en los últimos 2-3 años ligadas a las
estrategias del PNCGRM. (NOTA: Si están interesados en compartir alguna
experiencia o presentar alguna de las acciones que hayan realizado en los
últimos años, favor de solicitar por este medio un espacio y nosotros
agendaremos con gusto su participación en la sesión de ponencias).
- Simplificar y actualizar el listado de amenazas por subunidad de manejo
(estas fueron determinadas en el año 2015).
- Ponderar las amenazas de manera general para México.
- Identificar áreas clave para protección y restauración ecológica.
- Espacio para actualización de asuntos del Reddish Egret International Working
Group.
Se prospecta realizar el taller durante dos días por lo que les solicitamos
atentamente puedan llenar la encuesta de Doodle en donde se proponen fechas de

Mexico (PNCGRM acronym in Spanish). I hope that in these challenging times, you

This email is to communicate the intention of holding a virtual meeting in
order to monitor and update the components of the Business Plan for Reddish
Egret Conservation in Mexico.
Among the main objectives of the meeting are:
- Present activities carried out in the last 2-3 years linked to the PNCGRM
strategies. (NOTE: If you are interested in sharing any experience or
presenting any of the actions that you have carried out in recent years, please
request a space by email and we will gladly schedule your participation in the
presentation session.)
- Simplify and update the list of threats by management subunit (these were
determined in 2015).
- Rate the threats to Mexico.
- Identify key areas for ecological protection and restoration.
- Updates and advancements from the Reddish Egret International Working Group.
The workshop is expected to be held for two days, so we kindly ask you to fill
