Mid-Summer Oral Traditions Salon
and book launch party for Barry¹s new book,
Madness at the Gates of the City: The Myth of American Innocence.

The book will be available for a 10% discount. Barry will speak about and
read from it, and then together we will make an evening of poetry and
storytelling. Bring musical instruments, stories, poems, songs, tall tales,
insults, boasts and toasts LEARNED BY HEART!
No one is required to perform. Please join us even if you don¹t care to buy
or recite anything. Together let¹s make a brief community dedicated to the
love of the spoken word.
