First I tried the latest recoll and xapian packages from
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Extra/KDE_Release_46_openSUSE_11.4/
Then I downloaded the latest versions of recoll and xapian from their websites
and compiled it on my own. The problem occurs in both cases.
