Some keyboards have a sysX or midi message that you can send from sonar that
will disable local control, and another to reenable it. Do a google search
to see if there is such a command for your korg keyboard...

I have korg pa500 and its not very accessible,
I need to turn the local controller off to record midi using this keyboard.
can't I do this from sonar, or I must do this from the keyboard itself?
