Ok this is my review on the I phone. unlike all the other reviews I have read and herd I will talk about the hi price of an I phone. first I phone cost $199.00 plus tax. a t and t 2 year plan cost will vary depending on what plan your on. However the unlimited plan for data is $30.00 plus tax. this is not negotiable in any way. So $30.00 times 24 months plus $199.00 for the phone brings us to a grand total before taxes of $920.00 then we can add in any programs you get from the I store, and lets talk about what your time is worth. I have been to the apple store 3 times with this phone, 1. do to lack of training the sails man told me the only way to tern on the voice over was with iTunes. since I am using vista with the latest version of jaws I was unable to tern on voice over with the iTunes. I had sited help and still unable to tern on voiceover on the phone. Oh yah my sails man spoke to a genius before I left the store cause he was unable to make voiceover work on the phone. the response was for me to use I tunes. so that caused me to visit the store again and this time it took one of there people less then 1 minute to tern on voiceover. visit 3 was because I was unable to upload music to the iPod on the phone. I also paired a plantronics headset that is compatible with the I phone. However I was unable to get it to work. I also have spent countless hours on the phone with the apple teck support people. again lack of training caused me to need to return to the store. So sometime next week I will again make a trip to the I store one final time. sadly I will not leave that store with out a refund and I will go back to my 6682. So hats off to apple for trying to make this phone work for us v I people. However I would offer that better training for the support staff is in order. In fact maybe a voice over team will make a huge impact on new customers such as myself. So maybe I will revisit the I phone in a few years But for now I am viewing it as a fun toy but nothing more. It's slowing me down when I try to use it for business. I will list off things that were deal breakers aside from the $920 price tag. 1. when on a call it's impossible to use the touch screen for anything unless your using a headset. 2. battery life is a joke for all users. 3. lack of training at apple. 4. voice over sometimes just stops talking making it necessary to restart the phone. respectfully submitted by Jose Lopez. on the web at www.lopezlanguage.com 24/7 toll-free phone 888.824.3022 We Speak Your Language To subscribe or to leave the list, or to set other subscription options, go to www.freelists.org/list/real-eyes
