I'd recommend Paris Island, South Carolina. That's a joke; I couldn't
resist.

"Where do you get Bootcamp? Also, what tutorials did you use to learn the
Mac?

Wow, lots of personal questions here! Haha.
I primarily use a Macbook Pro at home, it's a laptop that's extremely
reliable, but I typically connect an external keyboard and speakers to it,
so it feels and acts like using a desktop.
I use the Mac most of the time, mostly for email and the web, along with
other programs for music creation in the form of Garage Band, Internet
radio, scanning, burning CD's and so on.
I use Bootcamp for booting into Windows 7, then the computer runs just like
a typical Windows machine, on which I can run Studio Recorder.

Hi Jim,

Which way do you personally use to get into Windows with the Mac? Is your
primary computer you use at home a PC or Mac? Do you use a laptop or desktop
for your main computer at home?

Hello, there is indeed quite a learning curve for becoming proficient using
Voiceover on the Mac and learning the programs that you may wish to use.
However, you can run Windows on the Mac, either through a utility called
Bootcamp, which lets you boot into either operating system, or you can run
Windows through a virtual machine, and there are a couple of ways to do
that.
At any rate, it's absolutely incredible how well Windows 7 or Windows 8 runs
on the Mac, that way, you have the best of both worlds.

If you need to be up and running with the ability to print, braille and scan
I would do a PC for now. The Mac is terrific but a big change and learning
curve.
