There's an IE7 configuration page that always comes back when you don't want
it too. Not sure how to make it appear when you need it. Leave it to
Microsoft.

I must have invoked something because now when I am on my home page in
Internet Explorer, I try to open up a new page I get the Dell search. I
eventually get there but for whatever reason I get Dell search first. I was
attempting to look for something earlier and enlisted the Google search.
Apparently I turned on Dell search by mistake and I can't turn it off.
