I believe it is supposed to support a2DP, but I'll have to double check to see.
There was one time when I did connect the two and VO went to the ear piece,
but I have no idea how it happened. It only happened that once.
I'll double check to see if the feature is supported or not.

Robert, the issue is the type of Bluetooth ear piece you have. If it doesn't
support the hands free profile called a2DP, then all sounds will not go to the
ear piece, and it will only work during phone calls. Ear pieces that support
this profile include the Jawbone, blue ant q2, and Plantronics voyager plus and
pro.

Hi all,
I've tried connecting a Bluetooth ear piece to my iPhone. However, VO and all
phone sounds still come through the phone and not the ear piece. I'm not sure
about phone calls, but my book readers, the sounds such a text alerts, and all
VO announcements do not go to the ear piece.
When I plug a wired ear piece into the phone, all sounds go to the ear piece.
Is there some command to make the sounds go to the ear piece when using
Bluetooth? I did not find anything in settings, but I could have overlooked it.
