Hey Rick, Earl's recommendations are spot on. I was a subscriber to the
Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra before leaving FL Jacoby Symphony hall was a
modern venue. I initially sat in the back of the orchestra, but then I move up
to the first balcony. The sound up there was much better and you have the
added advantage of having a birds eye view of the performers. I will be at the
pops concert as well. I believe Chuck is also attending, so perhaps we will
run into each other.

Hey Rick
Seating is open---all general admission. We generally draw 2K+ and hope that
will be the case on the 7th. The Altria seats 3,300 so there will likely be
some open seats. The best pace in my opinion is either in the back of the
orchestra sections (lower level) and centered in the middle balcony. The
seats in the upper balcony get real small and I always prefer not to sit there
if I can avoid it.
I hope that helps!!

Hi Earl,
My wife and I, and Stacey and her kids will be coming. We are looking forward
to it.
How is seating? Is this a concert that we need to get there early to get good
seats?

The Richmond Pops will be presenting a Salute to America's Veterans on Monday
November 7 at 7:30 at the Altria. As with all of our concerts, tickets are
free due to the generous donations from our patrons. A variety of enjoyable
music, broadway favorites, 2 showstopping soloists, and a patriotic finale
dedicated to our veterans will be presented.
Tickets can be obtained from me at the meeting/open house or by using the QR
code on the attached concert poster.
I hope that you can attend the show!!!
