Reasonably good crowd (though not the same as years past on a Sunday………take you
pick: Covid, school starting general decrease in “Fair” interest). By 5PM Paul
Koza and I had about $55-60 in raffle tickets sold.
Donations looked like under $10.
I’ll be interested in what Carl & BillS did last night.
Remember a modest average of $50/day over the 9 days approaches what we spend
on the raffle to put it on (somewhere between $500-600)…….so, it makes all F/U
raffle sales profit.
Bigger issue: some of out PostWar engines are not running………..it seems that the
681 and 2055 are acting like they are stuck in neutral, like the E unit is
frozen. I will bring them back to the store…….I will try and get our PostWar
Berk, N&W J and DTI road switcher there.
Bring conventional engines and LionChief if you have them.
Thomas’ remote doesn’t always work.
Once you get him running, Paul and I controlled him by pulling the plug at the
power strip in the out. I turned off the sound because after an hour it was
dizzying.
