I just wanted to put these out there so people can be thinking about them.
Next week is York Week.
From October 25 through November 12, we will be getting the layouts ready for
the “Show Season”.
Here are the November dates:
Right now, we are re-ballasting the yard. The re-wiring is basically completed
for this year.
We hope to have the layout up and running in the next 7-10 days.
November 13 we are having a regular club meeting at the store from 9-11AM
………this will be followed by a Public Running Day from 11-3PM. This will serve
as our “dress rehearsal” for the VTC show.
November 20-21 is the VTC show……9-4 Saturday and 9-3 Sunday…..Last time they
had 800 people get admitted and that doesn’t count the hordes of children under
12. I expect similar numbers.
THIS IS WHEN THE FUN BEGINS…….
After the show, at 3PM on Sunday the 21st, we will take down the large layout
and whatever small layout we are taking to the Science Museum…….we will arrive
at the SMV, Monday at 9AM on the 22nd.
The SMV show is Nov 26-28.
Sunday the 28th, at 5PM……we pack and load the layouts
Monday the 29th at 9AM we arrive at the GBGH
