Subject: [rc3r] GBGH Schedule Regrets and Tear Down
This weekend is the third week on the current GBGH schedule. Club
officers will be meeting early next week to put together the third and final
schedule. Please let us know any dates for which you have previous
obligations. There are seven shifts to be filled. With one or two exceptions,
each member will only need to work one shift.
Friday Jan. 12th 3 to 6 PM
Saturday Jan 13th AM Shift: 9 to 1:30
PM Shift: 1:30 to 6 PM
Sunday Jan 14th AM Shift: 9 to 1:30
PM Shift: 1:30 to 6 PM
Friday Jan 19th 3 to 6 PM
Saturday Jan 20th ( Kids in the Garden 10 to 2 PM ) & Tear Down starting @
2:30 ish. Start at 9 AM - need several to be there to ensure we are up and
running for the Kids in the Garden event.
Please read the following:
This is a duplicate of what was previously sent out for the SMR teardown.
When this is disregarded, it places an unfair burden on those who are working
together to get the layout taken down in an orderly fashion.
#1 Remove Skirting, fold and on hangers. Ken direct and coordinate.
#2 Remove Plexiglas barriers. Bolts and nuts in the bag. #3 Remove Track
joiners. Store back in the box. #4 Unplug wiring harnesses #5 Remove
clamps. Store in the carry box.
#6 THEN start putting away your buildings and scenery. This is not STEP #1.
ALL the buildings need to be put away. So when you're "done", please help
others.
Trailer loading:
Corners first in the nose. We do not want to tear up corner track (again)
so we need to go back to the plywood shipping braces. NO HAMMERS, please! They
fit and will slip together. I'll be glad to help. Legs in the toter in the
left front. Station modules. Tight to the front. These consume the entire
width of the trailer side-to-side Four foot straights flat on top of the
station modules Yard Lead, Bridge, yard modules on the right. Small layout
tight to the back of the station.
After the trailer is loaded, then get your personal items loaded into your
vehicle.
Saturday 01//20 is going to be a long hard day. Please let's try to make it
as smooth as possible.
