Subject: THANK YOU and celebration dinner
A really big thank you goes out to each and every one of you who made the
17th annual Ashland Train Day an absolute success. We knocked the ball out
of the park again. Without your participation, we would not have been able
to make so many kids, parents, and other guests so happy again. We
certainly showed our love for trains, and Ashland as well. It was a perfect
celebration of our town’s railroad heritage.
With success comes reward. So I want to invite everyone to come celebrate
our spectacular day by joining all of our other volunteers in a victory
dinner and event presentation. Because we all were working the event, we
didn’t get the opportunity to get around and see what was happening. So
thorough the magic of pictures, we will share hundreds of photos of the fun,
excitement, and awe of Ashland Train Day 2019.
Please join us on Monday, November 18, from 6:30 to 8:00p.m. at the Hanover
Arts and Activity Center at 500 S. Center St. for a victory dinner and
audio-visual presentation of the highlights of Ashland Train Day 2019.
Since many of you are the point of contact for a club or group, this
invitation is only being sent to you. But we know it is more than just you
who helped out. So please share this with all of your members who worked
along side you. We obviously only know one or two people from your group,
so we have to rely on you to forward this to the rest of the gang.
We certainly hope you can make it and get to meet so many of the other
dedicated volunteers that collectively made the magic happen. All we ask is
that you RSVP to the below email and give us your name and what group you
were with. The rest we will take care of. Of course, the dinner is
informal, unless you are still in the mood to wear those bib overalls,
bandanna and engineer hat.
Please send your name, group affiliation if applicable and contact number to:
AshlandTrainDay@xxxxxxxxx
If you have any questions, please email them to the above address.
Thank you again for being a part of the fun this year and we look forward to
seeing you on November 19th.
