Bill,If you don't want to pay to get in, don't go. There will be other
opportunities to run your trains. It is not that great a place anyway; no AC,
and dust to coat everything.John -----Original Message-----

#yiv7065018807 P {margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;}This all should have been
hashed out at a proper meeting so every member would know what's what and put
to a vote. This should have been brought before the whole club and not decided
by a handful of people via email. As you say, we are being paid which makes us
employees. While the club stands to make money, this could wind up costing
individual members and we will be one of the few people working the fair who
are not actually being paid. We are part of the attractions which helps draw
people to the event same as the clowns or face painters,

Subject: [rc3r] Re: Fair It’s their venue and their rules. These are their
rules. We need to abide by them or we won’t be invited back. It’s a great
opportunity for the club to make money… they’re paying us $750 plus raffle
sales (which does make us a vendor). I doubt we will get a 3rd chance if the
relationship breaks down again. From: rc3r-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx

anything we are contract employees. We are performing a task for them.

Subject: [rc3r] Re: Fair There are 24 tickets total available. Two people per
shift, 12 shifts. I haven't made a big deal about this, but I recently read the
Fair vendor rules. The last time we were there, we were asking/demanding many
more tickets per shift. It is was a violation of the Fair rules. The fact that
we were not invited back was almost 100% on us. Gilly -----Original Message-----
