Did they say anything about when the article would be published? I hope it comes out before we leave the GBGH.

Hi Gang,

First a big thank you to Bill Scanlon, Kevin Sutton, Peter Mellon, and Walt Strohecker and his son for coming out yesterday to run trains at the GBGH, Bill Robertson for cleaning up the layout, and Peter Condro for the use of his Christmas RDC Budd car. Guys, we were rolling yesterday and the layout looked great. We had two trains on each mainline, and the station module tracks were up and running as well.

Rich Griset and the Observer were there about an hour. Rich asked a ton of questions and the photographer commented that "he couldn't stop taking pictures". In addition, there was a guest that also arrived with his camera bag. He asked for, and I gave him my address promising to send a CD of his pictures.

We arrived at 9:00 AM and wrapped up at 11:30 AM. As you imagined we also attracted GBGH customers wanting to see the layout as well.

Thanks to all for a job well done. I sincerely hope this results in a very nice article. BTW, my Polar Express engine spit it's bell. If someone finds a random bell laying around, it's mine.

Gilly
