Tom,
I'll have plenty of opportunity to work on it some more on the weekdays
while it's in the GBGH. I'll Git 'R Done. Removing the vehicles and putting
them back won't be a problem.

I'm sorry that Friday was a crash and burn. The plan is to load tomorrow
at noon. While not ideal, the roads are 150% better than they have ever
been. We can continue the actual work after we finish the GBGH display.

Tom,
I couldn't get in there last Friday. No one was there to open the store.
I need a day in there next week to finish up, and I can take care of the
small road at the Station. Wednesday, and Thursday are both open for me, if
someone can open the store for me. I may need some time on the layout both
days if possible.
Do you mean to load it up this week (11/13 or 14) or next week (11/20 or
21)?

The 12x15 layout "I think" is electrically complete and ready for the GBGH.
- Menards sign is mounted, wired, and display panels mounted
- Lionel sign is mounted and wired
- On/off switch for Menards lights is mounted and wired
- Single outlet for Menards wall warts is mounted and wired
Today, Peter M and John C will finish labeling the underside of the layout
for the building positions and plug-in connections. They will also be
packing up the Menards buildings.
Remaining items:
- The road beside the Train Station still needs to be sceniced.
- A small nail needs to be glued to the underside of the Taco Bell
menu board and a hole drilled to mount it.
- The edges of the median strip need to be touched-up and it needs to
be glued back down. I have the glue and the paint.
- Friday, Walt will be doing a final wash on the streets.
I want to thank everyone for their efforts. This layout is looking very
nice. It and the big layout needs to be loaded early next week. Mon/Tues
are the best days for me. Please let me know if you are available.
