So here's another installment of, Ya just never know what's going to show up at the track... So this week was the first installment of the new NASA regional race series. Saturday was well attended and we even had a few cars that had not seen the track in a year, Dave Dingman has rebuilt his Mazda and it was running well and George Smith was back with his yellow Vette and was impressive as usual. Madison Snow was using this weekend as a warmup to next weeks races being his home track the pressure is on. John Potter even put in some time on Sat as a warm up to Saturday's race in Miami. NASA doesn't really care about the open wheel cars but since there are a few around here they did have races for them as well. Sam Stovall (not sure of the spelling) will be disappointed he wasn't here on Sat cause one of the prototype lite teams has a driver that has never turned a lap at Miller so they were here to get in some practice, Sam would have finally had some competition. So I've included two pics, one was the coolest car at the track, a convertible 55 BelAir that I would have given not only my first born for but both my kids. So I will torture myself this weekend by hanging around the track Thur-Sun, hope to see you there. Dr Z -- Dr. Z aka Michael Wells MCWells Photography mcwellsphoto@xxxxxxxxx 801-850-7279
