Hi,
I found an image for my old Google TV, and it sounds like the Lubuntu is better
on it than the Ubuntu image because this thing only has one GB of RAM.
Anyway, it has HDMI out, no audio jack, but I have an adapter plugged into the
HDMI to VGA with an audio port.
There is a micro SD slot, and it can run up to a 32 GB SD card and I am burning
an image on the card now.
The trouble is, it has no ports for Ethernet, just a USB port for the keyboard.
I would like to SSH into it, but I'm guessing that an image made from Lubuntu
12.04 does not have a boot partition either.
It is the Miniand image for this device.
I can't find any mini HDMI to standard cords yet, so I ordered one today, but
it won't get here for about a week, at which time, if I have to, maybe I can
get sighted assistance connecting it to my WIFI, and if it isn't already
installed, I can install SSH.
But in the mean time, are there any suggestions for getting speakup and/or Orca
on this?
Thanks.
If anyone is wondering, it is a bit larger than a large thumb drive.
It came out about 9 years back and there's probably nothing newer than 12.04
for it.
It came with Android 4.0.
Glenn
