Well, here we go, another volume of the radio free exile newsletter.
And things have been busy over here.
First, there's a new featured singer-songwriter in the Spotlight On
Songwriters segment. Lois Berg is a folk/country/Americana artist, in the
tradition of the Carter Family. Her songs are clear and direct. When you
hear her sing you can tell she feels every word, whether light or serious,
and you can tell she loves what she is doing. Lois has an interesting

Long time commentator on radio free exile, Felicity Blackchurch, is
producing a new segment called Felicity's Picks. In this show, Felicity is
choosing tracks from the rotation, or even other tracks from the radio free
exile archives, that she feels are special enough to deserve your extra
attention. These shows are scattered throughout the stream, and pop up
randomly. All I can say is, when you hear the program pay attention, it's
going to be good. Below are some of the programs playing now, and more are
on the way, because Felicity is just not going to stop.
Show 1 - Singer-songwriter Phil Ward, hailing from Southern
California, performs live, "Elevator Music", "The Hoosegow", and "The
Bible Quiz". Be warned, Phil Ward is a skilled player, and his songs are

Show 3 - Hawk and the Wild, is a Swedish singer/songwriter with a
characteristic voice singing melodies of dark but hopeful lyrics. Featuring
a series of new exciting songs recorded in his new studio in Västerås,
Sweden. Featuring "Lay Down Low", "Broken Tailight", and "Colour".
