I would love to see a way to hold on to an object's history:
log records, notes, links, ip, container, etc after it is deleted --
similar to the ip history plug-in.
Just logs of some kind -- that can be searched (not from the main search
bar)
Also happy to sponsor development!

Hello list.
I hope you made it through this unusual year without taking too much
damage. Spring will come it its due time and hopefully drag people
away from displays of all kind, but before that there's plenty of long
evenings ahead (in the northern hemisphere, for that matter), some of
which I would like to spend on updating the RackTables web-site at
www.racktables.org, and you can help if you want.
This version of the web-site has been around for about 10 years, it
consists of just a few files in this git repository:
https://github.com/RackTables/racktables-htdocs
It needs a better index and "about" pages, better screenshots, perhaps a
new page with a list of known-good distributions, and some style
updates. Certainly there are a few things that the web-site could and
should explain better, but it is difficult for me to see it with the
eyes of a user, so all feedback is welcome.
If you have a nice screenshot for one or another RackTables feature and
are happy to propose it for the web-site, please let me know. If it
fits, it will be there with due credit. That said, it would be best
*not* to post large files to the mailing list.
Although this is not the most pressing work item that needs to be done
in this project, it is one of the oldest, so let's state the problem and
see if any good solutions come up.
Have a happy new year!
