Trying this upgrade on a similar setup to my production (debian) the upgrade worked just fine. Executing batch '0.17.11' failed during the upgrade but the next step was fine and everything else seems to be working as excpected. I upgraded from 17.4. I performed this upgrade on Ubuntu 10.0.4 and got the same thing during the upgrade, but when entering the site it said failed to turn off magic quotes. I looked in my php.ini and magic quotes are turned off. No errors in apache logs either. One other question/complaint, on the main page it would (to me) look cleaner to have 4 columns instead of 5 icons on top and 3 on the bottom. I say that because the new 802.1Q icon pushes off the screen a bit for me. Minor though. I went ahead and changed mine. Thanks for the updates. -----Original Message----- From: racktables-users-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:racktables-users-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Denis Ovsienko Sent: Thursday, May 27, 2010 5:00 PM To: racktables-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [racktables-users] about 0.18.0 release of RackTables Hello, list. I have uploaded today's 0.18.0 release to SourceForge, but in the process of setting up a demo I discovered a problem. SF's installation of PHP fails on RackTables' new PCRE regexps, although my working copies run just fine. I am looking for folks, who could test the new release in a safe way (with backups made beforehand) and report, if 0.18.0 works for them or not (and which version of PHP it was tested with). In addition, I would like to note, that 0.17 will have one more release (0.17.11) with bugfixes/updates. Early releases of 0.18 series should be considered beta-quality for now due to amount of changes introduced. Once 0.18 gets stable enough, it will be moved to "maintenance", and 0.17 will be obsoleted. -- Denis Ovsienko
