Hello, list. As some of you noticed, SourceForge's hosted apps feature, which was employed for RackTables bug tracking, is through a major turbulence period. Aaron Dummer, the current sysadmin of RackTables project, has taken care of moving the bug tracker to bugs.racktables.org, a standalone Mantis instance, preserving all the data. This migration would greatly benefit from some finish, that depends on each user's easy action. Namely, the current Mantis has all the user accounts of the old Mantis. Most of the accounts have the "email" setting initialized by SF script to a value like "username@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" and never changed by the owner. This worked fine for the old Mantis, which was hosted on SF, but doesn't work for the new, which is hosted outside of SF. SourceForge's mail servers don't typically (this is a per-account setting) accept the mail for @users.sourceforge.net from outside by default. There is a problem of Mantis email not being delivered and communication lost between issue assignees and the original reporters. Please improve this situation by updating email address of your own RackTables Mantis account, if you intend using it in future. This is done as follows: 1. Try to recover your RackTables Mantis password at http://bugs.racktables.org/lost_pwd_page.php 2. If that works, fine, your RackTables Mantis email does not require a change. But if you want to update your RackTables Mantis email address, this is done at http://bugs.racktables.org/account_page.php (it didn't work) 3. Open your SourceForge account settings: https://sourceforge.net/account/ 4. Change the "Mail Alias Behavior" to "Accept all mail" (note the original setting) and save. 5. Try to recover your RackTables Mantis password at http://bugs.racktables.org/lost_pwd_page.php 6. Log into RackTables Mantis and update your email to something that works well at http://bugs.racktables.org/account_page.php 7. Change the SF "Mail Alias Behavior" to the old setting and save. Thanks for reading. -- Denis Ovsienko
