Also natively, a rack space has 3 space. Front, middle and rear.  You can 
allocate an object to one of the 3 and manage to have up to 3 object on the 
same row of a cabinet.

create new object as a container with, say, two slots.
assign each item to separate slot in container.

see server chassis as example.
