Hi,
After a bit of advice on documenting data centre cross connects. How do people
generally record in racktables the tag/name of a cable that goes off to
equipment you don’t have control of? In this instance we have several cables
coming in to a rack from external parties and the data centre supplies them
with a cross connect number. Because in racktables the ports they connect to
aren’t connected to a device we have we don’t have the option to label the
cable.
