Hi Glenn,

Personal don't think it would take much to extend the Attributes possibly to
include a url Type that could be recorded against a device. And then render a
url much in the same way as the Dictionary does for some devices. If the rest
of the base thinks this is worth while then we could look at getting this added
perhaps. Alternatively I am working a plug-in systems so you could add your
own Tab for this and store the URL in a separate db table somewhere if this was
something unique to your usage.

Subject: [racktables-users] Cft2HTML Extension?

G'day Folks,

I know this is probably a little out-of-scope for what RackTables was
originally designed for but I thought I'd put it out there in case there was an
easy way of doing it.

Has anyone extended RackTables so that there's a link on the properties of a
"server" details (could be any type I guess) that links to an external HTML
file such as one created by cfg2html (http://www.cfg2html.com/) so that not
only could we see all the rack / port / IP configuration in one place but also
the server details?

Regards,

Glenn Crawford.
