Hi,
We have it running against openldap here for 5+ years now. Just remember
that ldaps is using port 636 instead of 389 like Anthony Pereira pointed
out.
Back in the day it helped us alot to increase the ldap logging to figure
out what was going on, while setting it up initially.
What ldap-backend are you connecting to?
