Not everyone could make our last session so here's a quick catch-up>
The votes are in and we have decided to focus on a queer zine swap.
*Actions* - Holly to message Vicky at Penfight Distro to make sure we
aren't stepping on toes before we get started. Would like to give Penfight
time to organise their queer mail swap before we start promoting queer zine
swap
We have also decided to focus on creating a list of queer zine making
resources. This is something which would sit on the QZL website and can
also be sent to anyone who gets in touch asking for help and resources. The
list should include categories of queer zine distros, queer zine fiars,
queer friendly printers, how to guides for making zines, links to other
online queer zine libraries, links to zine clubs and social groups
especially those with a queer focus.
*Actions* - Jess to set up a google doc for us all to feed in to. We can
then begin crowdsourcing suggestions on social media
Members of Over Here Zine Fest are interested in collaborating with us on
our next series of Behind the Zines focusing on QTIPOC zine makers
*Action* - Holly to invite them to our next online chat to discuss as a
group.
