Hello all,
I'm very tempted by this even though it would mean travelling into London -
but it's only 45 minutes on the train for me, so not much different from a
commute within the city really... I'll have to see what things feel like
with the pandemic nearer the time but please put me down as a maybe - it
would be so lovely to meet you!

Ace, it will be so nice to see some of you in person!
Trying to think of good accessible parks with toilets in central London.
I'm based in North London and I know hackney downs has gender neutral
toilets in the park, but does anyone know of anywhere more central London?

Hello Holly and all,
I hope everyone is well.
I am free that day and would love to come to the picnic.
I love the idea of reading zines together and making one for the 2nd
birthday.
I am happy to bring materials as well if needed.
I am not sure which parks are convenient to get to for people and
personally I am happy to travel to any park in London.

Heya
Just realised that the first weekend in July is our 2nd birthday as a
zine library and wondered if anyone fancied celebrating with a queer zine
library picnic in London on Saturday 3rd July?
I know that we are all spread across the UK but with quite a few of us
in London I thought we could maybe have a London meet up to start off with.
Perhaps we could find a park somewhere central, preferably with toilets and
accessible as possible. We could bring food and snacks and I can bring the
qzl suitcase full of zines with me if we wanted to read zines in the
sunshine together?
I can also bring paper and scissors and glue if anyone fancied making a
group zine for our 2nd birthday as well...
There's no pressure to say yes, I know we all have very different
comfort levels of being out and about at the moment. And I really hope that
if it is safe to travel in the future again we can take this out of London
so we aren't so london-centric.
All the best
Holly
