I also use a TD-502 and calibrate with a Stouffer wedge that is made
for this. It is very inexpensive and you don't need to buy the
calibrated version for the typical accuracy required. I use their 5
step T5100 and it's ideal for setting the Macbeth. My TD-502 is very
accurate and agrees with a Wallner unit that I also use at times and
their agreement gives me confidence in the Macbeth and its calibration. http://tinyurl.com/38kv4w Sorry if this has been mentioned but I hadn't been following this thread until just now. I have other Stouffer guides and wedges and have been very satisfied with all of their products. I have a guide on pdf somewhere here that outlines the process of calibrating the Macbeth units if you could use it. mail1 wrote: Shannon, Check out ebay, start a search, you might like a TD509 the digital model of the TD502. I have been trying to talk to the macbeth people for a while, and I am just put on hold forever until finally I am disconnected. Does anybody have an idea of where one of these might be found? I think Kodak used to make one. They are little pieces of negative calibrated to 3.0. --shannon ============================================================================================================= To unsubscribe from this list, go to www.freelists.org and logon to your account (the same e-mail address and password you set-up when you subscribed,) and unsubscribe from there. |
