What is a "normal" light to look at prints under, when you're judging darkness, contrast, etc?
Best to judge prints using the same light they will have when they are displayed.If you print for a bright 100W lamp 3 feet from the print and then find your print has been hung in a dark corridor you will have an unhappy
customer: "There is something wrong! It doesn't look at all like the one in the gallery! It's all dark and gloomy! You sold me a defective print!"Some papers look like they get a bit darker as they dry. The reality and cause of the effect
